The ROCC Sunnyside Ministry 5K
The ROCC Sunnyside Ministry 5K takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Clemmons, North Carolina. The 15th annual event features a 3.1 mile road course that runs primarily along Lewisville-Clemmons Road and includes a loop around the local high school track.
One lane of traffic is coned off for participants. The course is described as mostly flat with some rolling ups and downs and includes almost two miles along Lewisville-Clemmons Road. A separate Kid's Fun Run uses on-site paths and the ROCC prayer trail and finishes through the main 5K chute.
The event provides free childcare on race day for children from infants through kindergarten, free race photos, and a kid's fun zone. Awards include cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers ($175, $125, $75), a $50 gift card for top masters 40 plus, age division awards from 9 and under through 85 plus, and a course record award with a $100 gift card.
