The ROCC Sunnyside Ministry 5K is a 3.1-mile road race and walk taking place on a Saturday in May in Clemmons, North Carolina. The event is the 15th annual iteration and supports the Sunnyside Ministry, a local nonprofit organization.
Course and Amenities
The course follows Lewisville-Clemmons Road, described as mostly flat, straight, and scenic, with one traffic lane coned off for participants. The event offers free race photos, free childcare for infants through kindergarten on race day, and a kid's fun zone.
Awards and Additional Events
The race features cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers, gift cards for top masters finishers, and age group awards. A separate, non-competitive kid's fun run of approximately 1/4 to 1/2 mile is also held, requiring no registration.
Registration
Registration is available online and in person. The entry fee increases after a certain date, and race day registration is available at a higher fee.
