THE ROC ENGLAND
THE ROC ENGLAND is a five-stage endurance event based at Lakeside, Windermere, scheduled for Saturday 4th September 2027. The course starts with a lake swim in Windermere, includes road cycling that passes Coniston Water, an out-and-back mountain section to the summit of Scafell Pike, and returns by bike and trail run to Lakeside.
The published totals are 112 km distance with a total ascent of 6,916 ft. The event combines open-water and mountain terrain with road and trail sections over a single course.
Distances for each stage:
- 1.5 km lake swim
- 46.5 km road bike
- 18 km mountain run (to Scafell Pike summit and back)
- 45.5 km road bike
- 1 km trail run
