Event Overview

The ROC England is a multi-stage endurance event. It takes place on Saturday, 5th September 2026, at Lakeside, Windermere, in the Lake District. The event follows a five-stage format.

Course Details

The total course distance is 112 km. The total ascent is 6,916 ft.

The event is broken down into the following stages:

  • A 1.5 km lake swim in Windermere.
  • A 46.5 km road bike segment.
  • An 18 km mountain run to the summit of Scafell Pike (England's highest mountain) and back.
  • A second road bike segment of 45.5 km.
  • A final 1 km trail run.

The bike course passes Coniston Water.
