Event overview
The Festive Farm Yard Five is a 5-mile road race held on Saturday, 12 December 2026. The start and finish are at Farm Yard Brew Co., Gulf Lane, Lancaster, LA2 0ER. The course is a measured, flat road/pavement route that heads out along Gulf Lane with views over open countryside and the Trough of Bowland hills. There is a beer-stocked aid station at the halfway point; water is optional. All finishers receive beer as part of the event provisions. No medals are handed out at the finish; finishers receive a voucher for a free pint or a soft drink. The event is held under a road running license.
Entries, inclusions and terms
Maximum field 150. Minimum age 18 years. Entries close 12/12/2026. Entry prices listed are: Affiliated £18.00, Unattached £20.00. The entry fee includes an accurately measured course, medical cover, a Santa hat, a mince pie, access to the beer aid station, beer for finishers, and free parking. The first three male and the first three female finishers receive two cans of beer each. All entrants are entered into a draw to win six cans of Farm Yard Brew Co. beers; the draw takes place on the day before the race start. Refunds are not permitted. Places may be deferred or transferred to another runner up to one week prior to the event by contacting the organiser.
