Festive Farm Yard Five
The Festive Farm Yard Five is a seasonal running event held in Lancaster, organized by Preston, Fylde & Wyre Running in partnership with Farm Yard Brew Co. The race takes place on an accurately measured course that starts and finishes at the brewery on Gulf Lane.
The route is described as a fast, flat course that leads runners along Gulf Lane, offering views of the surrounding open countryside and the hills of the Trough of Bowland. This event is the third and final installment of a three-part series of beer-themed runs held throughout 2026.
Participants follow a single distance:
- 5 miles
The event features a specialized aid station at the halfway point, providing runners with beer or water. Upon completion of the race, finishers receive a voucher for a pint of beer or a soft drink and a mince pie. A Santa hat is included with the entry fee, and participants are encouraged to wear festive attire.
The tap room at Farm Yard Brew Co. remains open for spectators and runners alike, and a street food vendor is present on-site. Participants are entered into a prize draw for brewery products, and the first three male and female finishers receive additional beer prizes.
