Festive Farm Yard Five : Preston, Fylde & Wyre Running
The Festive Farm Yard Five is a 5 Miles road race held at Farm Yard Brew Co, Gulf Lane, Lancaster, LA2 0ER on Saturday 12th December 2026. The course starts and finishes at the brewery and runs along Gulf Lane with views over open countryside and the Trough of Bowland hills. The course is accurately measured and described as flat.
The event includes a beer stocked aid station at the halfway point; water is optional at that station. Finishers receive a voucher for a free pint of beer or a soft drink and a mince pie. A Santa hat is included with entry and runners are encouraged to wear festive gear. The tap room at the brewery is open for runners and spectators, and a street food vendor will be on site.
Entry details include medical cover, friendly marshals, free parking, and an event held under a road running license. Two cans of beer are awarded to each of the first three male and first three female finishers. All entrants are entered into a prize draw for two prizes of six cans of Farm Yard Brew Co beers; the draw takes place on the day of the event.
