The River Run 5K
The River Run 5K takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. The start and finish are located at Fort Saybrook Monument Park on Saybrook Point.
The event consists of two races:
- The River Run 5K (3.1 miles)
- The River Run Kids Fun Run
The 5K course is flat and scenic. It winds through Old Saybrook, offering views of the Connecticut River and the marshes along North Cove Road. The finish line is at the historic site of the original Fort Saybrook.
The event supports Saint John School in Old Saybrook. Proceeds help support the school's mission.
Award categories are presented for the 5K, including overall male and female winners, as well as age group winners from 14 & Under to 80+.
