The River Run 5K and Kids Fun Run
The event takes place on May 30, 2026 at Saybrook Point in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. It comprises two separate running events and is organized along the town shoreline and waterfront areas.

The 5K uses a flat, scenic course that winds through historic Old Saybrook. The route passes along the Connecticut River and the marshes of North Cove Road, travels past a waterfront stretch, and finishes at the historic site of the original Fort Saybrook. The course is open to runners and walkers.
The River Run 5K and Kids Fun Run supports Saint John School in Old Saybrook, CT. Proceeds are designated to further the school's mission to inspire individual growth, self-discipline, confidence, and Christian service, and to form students who grow into respectful, compassionate citizens.
