Event Overview
The Ridgeway Chase is a 60km point-to-point ultramarathon that follows the historic Ridgeway National Trail. The event takes place on 30th May 2026.
Route Details
The race starts at Ivinghoe Beacon in Hertfordshire and finishes at Ridgeway View Campsite near Wallingford. This section of the trail offers ridgeline views and woodland trails, with approximately 1000 meters of elevation gain. Runners have a 10-hour time limit to complete the course.
Navigation and Support
The route is marked with permanent trail signage and additional race markers. Four aid stations are provided along the course, supplying water, electrolyte drinks, food, and other essentials.
Logistics
Free parking is available at the finish location, with coach transfers to the start before the race. The event is limited to 200 participants, with a minimum age of 20. Runners must carry required gear including a mobile phone, route access, water bottles, a foil blanket, a soft cup, a jacket, and cash or a card.
Entry Information
