Washington Island Event Overview
The Washington Island Ultra is an endurance event held on Washington Island, Wisconsin. Participants travel to the island via a 30-minute car ferry ride across Deaths Door Passage. The event takes place in an environment characterized by smooth roads, clear water, and night skies visibility.

The event accommodates 150 athletes from various locations. The organizers provide home-cooked meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with coffee, tea, and pizza from a local pizzeria. Camping is available near the water for participants.
Registration for this event typically fills within 24 to 48 hours of opening. Priority registration is provided to previous participants and individuals on the waitlist. For team events, all members must complete their registration to secure a spot. The course utilizes the island's paved road network and is designed to provide a safe environment for athletes to test their endurance limits over an extended period.
