The Rebel 5k Brew Run
The Rebel 5K Brew Run is a fundraising event held in Acushnet, Massachusetts. The course covers a distance of 3.1 miles (5 km) through a quiet neighborhood setting. Participants have the option to run or walk the route. The event starts and ends at the St. Francis Xavier School.
Registration for the run includes entry to a post-race party featuring live music and refreshments. Local vendors provide samples of beer, wine, and food for participants. Scheduled vendors include A&M Winery, Sakonnet Vineyards, Red Hand Brewery, Moby Dick Brewery, Citizen Cider, Sip Happens Tours, Off The Boulevard, and Whaler's Tavern.
The event offers several participation categories:
- 5 km Brew Run/Walk (Ages 21+)
- 5 km Brew Run/Walk (Under 21)
- 5 km Race and Party (St. Francis Xavier Students only)
- Post-Race Party only (Ages 12+)
Limited parking is available at the school. Overflow parking is provided at Pope Park and St. Francis Xavier Church on Main Street, with a free shuttle service available to transport participants to the starting line.
