The Rachel Gernerd Phighting Irish 5K
The event takes place on 10/25/2026 at Norristown Farm Park, 2500 Upper Farm Road, Norristown, PA 19403. It includes organized running and walking activities, a children's race, and a post-race outdoor fall festival.

The registration fee for the 5K is $25.00; the 1 Mile Walk registration fee is $30.00. Registration windows are listed separately for each event: the 5K registration opens 3/1/2026 and closes 8/2/2026, and the 1 Mile Walk registration opens 8/24/2026 and closes 8/31/2026. Organizers accept same-day sign-ups for the Kids' Fun Run.
Prizes and awards will be provided for the Kids' Fun Run. The outdoor fall festival is open to ND Philly club members, friends, and family and will feature local food, non-alcoholic drinks, music, giveaways, and games for a range of ages.
The event honors the life and legacy of Rachel Gernerd. Proceeds benefit the Rachel Gernerd Fund at the University of Notre Dame.
Vehicle access to the park uses a single entrance at the intersection of Germantown Pike and North Wales Road. GPS systems may direct to closed roads; using "Farm Park Pediatric Dentistry, 502 W Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA" as a destination is suggested. From the intersection, follow directions into the park and continue on Upper Farm Road for one mile to the pavilions and parking area on the left.
