About the race
The Race on Race Street is the fifth annual community running event hosted by PT Fitness in Fort Worth, Texas on October 10, 2026. The event uses Race Street with the starting line at PT Fitness, 2804 Race Street, Fort Worth TX 76111, and raises awareness and funds for PanCAN.
Distances offered include:
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- 5K Ruck (Open Division)
The 5K Ruck is an open division: participants choose their own weight, there are no official weigh-ins or strict requirements, and all finishers receive a medal. The event description notes no winners for the ruck division.
A Vendor Alley showcases sponsors and local Fort Worth vendors. Participants can also shop and dine on Race Street near the finish area, with local boutiques and restaurants available after the course.
A Train Smart Clinic Series is available for participants. Clinics cover topics such as training strategies, injury prevention, mobility, and recovery. The Train Smart clinic is presented by a performance expert and physical therapist from Imagine Performance Therapy. A foam roll clinic teaches self-myofascial release techniques to reduce muscle tightness and improve mobility.
