The Race for ChildRUN
The Race for ChildRUN is a fundraising running event held on the SUNY Morrisville campus in Morrisville, NY. The event raises funds for The Children's Center and is sponsored by local businesses. All proceeds support child care tuition scholarships at The Center.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 5K race option
- 1 Mile run/walk option for participants of all ages
Registration is open from August 27, 2026 to September 25, 2026. The registration fee listed is $30. Maps will be available at the registration table. Participants receive an entry number, a free t-shirt, and refreshments. Refreshments and door prizes are provided at the conclusion of the event. Awards are presented to top finishers in all age groups and to overall winners.
The Children's Center is described as Madison County's only licensed and nationally accredited Early Care and Learning Program.
