The Pink Dress Run
The Pink Dress Run is the inaugural timed and competitive race held on 10/24/2026 at World's Fair Park in downtown Knoxville. The event is presented by Men Wear Pink of the American Cancer Society and welcomes runners and walkers. The primary distance is 5K and the race is professionally timed.
All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and will support breast cancer research, patient services, education, early detection, and advocacy efforts. The event includes finisher medals and overall race awards, a "Who Wore It Best?" Pink Dress Competition, music and entertainment, photo opportunities, and post-race celebration activities.
A dress code encourages participants to wear pink attire. Suggested examples include a pink tutu, a flared vintage dress, a glamorous prom gown, or other creative pink outfits. Organizers are working through the approval process to include margaritas on-site as part of the post-race celebration, and plans are underway to feature a live band performance at the conclusion of the race.
