The Pie & Pea 5km Event 2027
The Pie & Pea event is a midweek trail run held on 7th April 2027 at Trimdon Grange Community Centre, Trimdon Grange, Co. Durham TS29 6PB. The course runs through woodland and along meandering tracks around a pond, with surfaces that include gravel and grass and a few undulations and muddy sections. The stated minimum age to enter is 12.
The distance is 5 km. Finishers are offered a choice of two pies, either Steak or Vegetable/Vegan. Prizes are given for the first, second and third male and female finishers. The event is licensed by the TRA and is held under UK Athletics Rules. The organiser states the event sells out each year and deferrals are no longer offered.
