Course and support: both courses are out and back with no turns and no traffic on the route. The 10 mile course has aid stations at miles 2.4, 5 and 7.6, a net elevation gain of 150 feet, and a 2 hour 30 minute cutoff (15 minute per mile pace). The 5 mile course has an aid station at mile 2.6, a net elevation gain of 60 feet, and a 2 hour cutoff (24 minute per mile pace). Both courses are described as flat and shaded.
Amenities include men's and women's short sleeve technical shirts for entrants, custom 3 inch finisher medals for 10 mile finishers, Poland Spring water and Gatorade Endurance at aid stations and the finish, porto-lets at the venue, live/text/email results, and free finish line photos.
Registration and policies: published fees show approximate early and race day amounts of $33.80 and $35.00 for the 5 miler, and $64.85 and $65.00 for the 10 miler; processing fees may apply. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Race day payment accepts cash and checks only; cards are not accepted.
Awards: custom coffee mug awards for top three male and female overall finishers and top three male and female in age groups 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Parking: plenty of parking is available at rail trail lots and on-street where legal. No parking at the Dunkin Donuts / Amity Liquors lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
