The Original Bare Buns Fun Run 2026
The Original Bare Buns Fun Run is a clothing-optional athletic event held at Kaniksu Ranch Family Nudist Park in Loon Lake, Washington. Located approximately 43 miles from Spokane, the venue is situated within a forest setting. This event represents the 40th year of the competition and is part of the Buns Across the Border series.

The course is an out-and-back route on a pressed gravel and dirt road. Participants encounter a slight uphill section on the return leg of the course. The race is open to both runners and walkers.
Participants are categorized into over 15 age groups, ranging from children aged 5 and under to adults aged 80 and over. Medals are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers within each specific age group. All participants in the 5 and under category receive ribbons.
The venue offers various amenities and activities, including a pool, swim spa, sauna, and courts for pickleball, bocce ball, and horseshoes. On-site facilities include indoor and outdoor showers and bathrooms. Lodging options at the park include tent camping and RV sites for vehicles up to 28 feet.
