The One to the Castle - Windsor
The One to the Castle is a point to point trail half marathon on 21 June 2026 that follows river trail paths and the Thames Towpath between Marlow and Windsor. The course passes woodland paths, country trails and several local landmarks including views of Windsor Castle. The route is signposted and marshalled, and a course map is published by the organiser.
Entry includes a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. Medical cover is provided and event photography is expected to be available shortly after the race. Race numbers are collected at the event village Registration Tent; participants should not expect race materials to be posted. On the day registration may be possible.
Facilities at the event village include free portable toilets, a food caterer and water available to refill bottles. Water stations with cups are placed on the route. A bag drop is available at the start and baggage vans transport items to the finish for collection. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers.
A coach transfer from the finish at Alexandra Gardens, Windsor to the start at Marlow Rugby Club is offered as an add on. Spectators are permitted in the start and finish areas and around the route. Personal dogs are not permitted except medical assistance dogs with prior approval. Buggies, pushchairs and wheelchairs are not suitable for this terrain. Noise cancelling earphones are prohibited and low volume use of other earphones is recommended. Race deferrals are allowed until registration closes and an administration fee applies.
