The One on the River - Henley
The One on the River - Henley is a multisport event held at Henley Showground with routes through the Culden Faw Estate and along the River Thames. The programme includes triathlon, aquabike and open water swim options. Swim legs take place in the river, the bike routes use hilly open roads, and the run legs follow trail paths near Henley-on-Thames. All courses are marked and marshalled and some laps are required depending on distance.
Distances offered:
- Triathlon: Middle, Standard, Sprint
- Aquabike: Middle, Standard, Sprint
- Swim: 3000 m, 1500 m, 750 m
Entry fees cover a range of prices and entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. Race pack collection provides a timing chip, bib number, bike and helmet stickers and a swim hat. The event village is at Henley Showground, Hambleden, RG9 3AS.
Facilities include suitable medical cover, on-site catering, and free portable toilets in the village. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers and no bag drop. Water is available at the start and finish, on the run route, and at a self-service refill station on the bike course. Photography is expected to be available shortly after the event.
Additional information notes that British Triathlon race pass rules apply for non members, headphones are prohibited, spectators are permitted in the start and finish area, and the event is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs due to the terrain.
