The One on the River - Henley
The One on the River - Henley is a multisport event on 20 September 2026 at Henley Showground, situated in the Thames Valley and Culden Faw Estate near Henley-on-Thames. The event takes place on the River Thames and uses local roads and trail paths for the bike and run legs.
Disciplines include triathlon, aquabike and open water swim events. Distances are offered as follows:
- Triathlon: Middle, Standard, Sprint
- Aquabike: Middle, Standard, Sprint
- Open water swim distances: 3000 m, 1500 m, 750 m
Swims take place in the river, the bike routes use hilly open roads, and runs follow marked trail paths. All courses are signed and marshalled, and participants complete a number of laps according to their chosen distance. Transition and registration facilities are located near the river and event village at Henley Showground.
Entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. Prices listed for events range from about £25 to £110. Participants who do not hold British Triathlon annual membership and live in the UK are required to obtain a British Triathlon race pass for the event.
On-site facilities include medical cover, a food caterer, portable toilets in the event village and water stations at the start, finish and on the run and bike courses. There is no bag drop and no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Headphones are prohibited and standard rules apply for assistance dogs, buggies and wheelchairs.
