The One on the River - Henley
The One on the River - Henley is a multi-discipline event held in the Thames Valley with the event village at Henley Showground, Hambleden, Henley on Thames RG9 3AS. Courses pass through Culden Faw Estate and use the River Thames for the swim leg. Swim, bike and run courses are signed and marshalled, and participants complete a number of laps according to their chosen distance.
Event formats listed include triathlon, aquabike and open water swims. Distances offered include:
- Triathlon: Middle, Standard, Sprint.
- Aquabike: Middle, Standard, Sprint.
- Swim distances: 3000m, 1500m, 750m.
Entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. Water is available at the start and finish and at designated points on the bike and run routes; the bike water point is self service for refilling bottles. There will be portable toilets in the event village and a food caterer on site. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers and there is no bag drop facility. Event images are expected to be available after the event.
Participants who are not annual members of British Triathlon and who live in the UK must purchase a Race Pass in line with British Triathlon competition rules. Race pack collection is arranged on the event day from the registration tent. Registration on the day may be available. A tree is planted for every entry.
