The One on the Lake - Dorney
The event takes place at Dorney Lake near Windsor and offers multiple multisport and swim options held around the lake. Disciplines include triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon and open swims across staged distances and lap-based courses. Route maps are provided and courses are marked and marshalled.
Participants receive a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing as part of entry. Race pack items include a timing chip, bib number, bike and helmet stickers and a swim hat; the timing chip is worn on the left ankle. Transition access requires the event number and bike sticker to be shown to marshals.
Event rules follow British Triathlon requirements; UK residents without annual membership must obtain a Race Pass or hold the required licence and insurance. Pre-race information is sent to registered participants approximately two weeks before the event. Race deferrals are permitted until registration closes, subject to an administration fee.
Facilities at the event village include medical cover, an onsite food caterer, event photography (usually available within 24 hours), and free portable toilets. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Bag drop is available for running events only. Headphones are prohibited, privately owned dogs are not permitted except approved medical assistance dogs, and buggies or pushchairs are not suitable for the terrain.
