The One on the Lake - Dorney
The event takes place at Dorney Lake Boathouse, Court Lane, Dorney, Windsor, SL4 6QP. The venue features flat, smooth-surfaced courses around the lake. Swim, bike and run courses are marked and marshalled, and the number of laps depends on the chosen distance.
Distances offered include triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon and several open water swim options:
- Triathlon: Standard, Sprint, Super Sprint
- Multisport: Duathlon, Aquabike, Aquathlon (multiple distances)
- Swim: 3000 m, 1500 m, 750 m
Entry includes a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. Race pack items such as timing chip, bib number, bike and helmet stickers and a swim hat are issued on event day from the Registration Tent located between the river and transition. Transition access requires presentation of the event number and bike sticker.
Facilities at the event village include on-site medical cover, a food caterer, event photography (usually available within 24 hours), and free portable toilets. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Water is available at the start and finish; run routes have on-course water stations and participants are expected to carry additional fuel or hydration as needed. Bag drop is available for running events but not for multisport events. The village location maps include a What3Words reference: cheer.spins.rails.
Participants who are not annual members of British Triathlon and who live in the UK must purchase a Race Pass for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
