The One on the Lake - Dorney
The event takes place at Dorney Lake Boathouse in Windsor. It uses the lake and surrounding roads with marked and marshalled swim, bike and run courses. The venue is described as flat with a smooth surface.
Distances and formats include:
- Triathlon with Standard, Sprint and Super Sprint options.
- Multisport events: duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon in multiple distances.
- Open water swim races: 3000m, 1500m and 750m.
Entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. Race maps and full route details are provided via the organiser’s interactive maps. Based on the chosen distance, participants complete a set number of laps for each leg.
Race pack collection is available on the event day and includes a timing chip, bib number, bike and helmet stickers and a swim hat. The transition area requires visible event stickers to gain access.
Facilities on site include medical cover, a food caterer, photography and portable toilets in the event village. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Water is available at the start and finish; run routes have water stations and participants should carry any additional nutrition they need.
The event follows British Triathlon competition rules; non-members may need to purchase a Race Pass. Spectators are permitted in the start and finish area. Personal dogs are not allowed except registered assistance dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
