Event Overview

The Ohio Parks 25K Challenge is a mixed-terrain running event held in one day. It consists of five separate 5 km races, each taking place in a different park in the Dayton, Ohio area. The total distance covered is 25 km.

Course Details

The event features a variety of surfaces including pavement, grass, single track trails, and gravel. The five park courses are run consecutively throughout the day. The course order is:

  1. John Bryan State Park (Yellow Springs)
  2. Little Miami Scenic Trail at Yellow Springs Brewery
  3. Carriage Hill MetroPark
  4. Taylorsville MetroPark
  5. Eastwood MetroPark (Dayton)

Participants must finish each individual 5 km segment in under one hour. The course is marked with color-coded flags, cones, and arrows. There are no water stations along each route, but aid station support is provided at the start/finish line of each segment.

Logistics and Registration

Bib pickup and race check-in occur on the morning of the event at John Bryan State Park. The registration fee includes entry to all five races, a race bib, and a finisher's medal.
