Courses use mixed surfaces including pavement, trail, gravel and grass, and include hills. Each 5K must be completed in under one hour; failure to meet a cutoff or skipping a course results in removal from the event while allowing completion of other courses and attendance at the after party. Courses will be marked with color-coded flags, cones and arrows. There is no water station on each route; aid station support is provided at the start/finish areas.
