The Navy Yard 5K (and 1 Miler)
The event is a community-focused running event held on Central Green at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, PA. It offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 Miler
Registration for the event is free; registration opens July 6, 2026 and closes October 14, 2026. All participants receive Navy Yard 5K–branded swag. The event emphasizes team participation: registrants are asked to join a corporate team or add a team name so coworkers can join together. A prize will be awarded to the largest corporate team.
A Health + Wellness Expo on Central Green will feature Navy Yard tenants and other companies presenting information on workplace health, wellness, nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle. The event partners with a local radio station campaign supporting Philabundance. After the run there will be awards, music, and refreshments. Food trucks will be on site; attendees should plan to pay for purchases.
