The Mystery Race : November 22, 2026
The Mystery Race is staged from Lamasco Park (600 N. 7th Ave., Evansville, IN) and is run entirely on the Greenway Passage. Each event is an out-and-back course that begins and ends at Lamasco Park. Exact distances are not disclosed in advance as part of the event format; participants choose between two distance ranges.
Distances:
- 3K–5K option
- 6K–8K option
Entry fees follow a tiered schedule: $30 through August 15, $35 through November 15, and $40 on race day. A medal-only option reduces the fee by $5. A processing fee is added at checkout. All sales are final; shirts and medals are not guaranteed after the event. The optional race shirt is guaranteed for orders placed by November 4; a limited number of extras may be available later. A custom die-cast finisher medal is awarded to all who complete the race.
Early shirt and bib pick-up is available on November 20 at Ultimate Fit, 1412 S. Green River Rd, Evansville. Race day check-in will take place at Lamasco Park. Timing is provided by To the Finish Timing.
Awards include overall winners and runner-ups for both events, top three male and top three female finishers in each distance, and age-group awards in standard age brackets. Placement pins will be given to winners as age groups fill. The event proceeds rain or shine; organizers will delay if weather threatens safety.
Participants are encouraged to leave GPS watches and phones in their vehicles for the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
