The Murder Mile Halloween Horror
The event takes place on private land near Franklin, TN and features two listed options: Haunted Half and Sinister Six. The core course is a roughly 1.1 mile loop on an old logging road with wide double-track, about 340 feet of elevation gain per loop. Runners will encounter two steep climbs with runnable sections between them and an easy downhill through a field to the start and finish area.
The loop is transformed for Halloween with spooky lights, sound effects, costumed characters, and trick-or-treat stations on each lap. Each lap a participant will draw from a Bag of Tricks and must perform the resulting task; treats are also possible but not guaranteed. Costumes are encouraged and may be required.
Organizers use a clothes-pin system to track laps. Awards are given to the top three in male and female categories. The event is hosted on private property approximately 20 minutes from downtown Franklin. No pets are allowed on site.
If storms or dangerous weather are forecasted, organizers may move the event to the prior night. There are no refunds or deferrals. Registration closes Friday, Oct 30 at 11:59 PM CT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
