The Muddy Miles: A Spirits Run at Fat Tommy’s
The Muddy Miles is a Spirits Run event taking place on March 28, 2026 in Midlothian, Illinois, with the course starting and finishing at Fat Tommy’s located at 4901 Cal Sag Road. The event presents a themed 5K route that draws on Chicago blues history, including references to Muddy Waters and the nearby Restvale Cemetery.
The route includes a respectful cemetery turnaround and checkpoints with light, optional tasks. Organizers describe a mini scavenger challenge woven into the course to add variety to the route. The event schedule includes a post race celebration with music, photos, and a community atmosphere.
