Course and logistics
The races use the Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek. The start is located just off Hollenback Road, south of the dog park (3993 Hollenback Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035). The course uses alternating north and south loops: the north loop is run clockwise for the second 10K, the south loop is run counter-clockwise for the first 10K, and loops alternate to reach the required distance. The 6K follows an abbreviated north loop with a shortcut at about the 1 mile mark, then rejoins the north loop after roughly 100 meters on an emergency access trail.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Columbus in Lewis Center on the Thursday and Friday before the event during normal business hours, and race day packet pickup begins at the race site. The 50K has an 8-hour course limit; the course closes for 50K participants at 4:00 pm, and lap-start cutoffs apply for later laps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
