Montane Lakeland 50 & 100

The Montane Lakeland 50 & 100 is a premier ultra trail running event held in the Lake District, UK, with the 2025 edition scheduled from July 25th to 27th. The Lakeland 100 is a challenging 100-mile circular route starting and finishing in Coniston, featuring approximately 6,300 meters of ascent. It traverses scenic fells and valleys including Dunnerdale, Eskdale, Wasdale, Buttermere, Keswick, Matterdale, Haweswater, Kentmere, Ambleside, and Elterwater.

The Lakeland 50 covers the latter half of the 100-mile course, starting at Dalemain Estate and finishing at Coniston, with around 3,100 meters of ascent. Both races demand strong navigation skills and endurance, with multiple staffed checkpoints providing support along rugged, mostly public footpaths and bridleways.
