The Mayor’s Lucky Charm 5K
The Mayor’s Lucky Charm 5K is a running event held on Sunday, March 15, 2026. The event takes place at Patriots Glen National Golf Club in Elkton, Maryland.
Event Details
The event offers a 5 km run/walk and a separate competitive walking category. The competitive walking category is only for participants who will walk the entire race; no running or jogging is allowed.
Registration for the 5K is $45.08 and is open from December 31 until March 15. Day-of registration opens at 9:00 AM.
Amenities and Awards
Participants who register before March 1 are guaranteed a T-shirt. Shirts for day-of registrants are available on a first-come, first-served basis. An after-party is held in the clubhouse tavern with breakfast and beer.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female masters (calculated by gun time). Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each category, and separate awards are given to the top three male and female competitive walkers (calculated by chip time).
Additional Information
The event benefits Elkton Parks & Recreation. The official timing company is R2R Timing, using the MYLAPS BibTag system. Results are posted online during and after the race, and photos are posted on the Races2Run Facebook page following the event.
