Reindeer Run 5k, Aberdeen MD
Reindeer Run 5k is the fourth event in a Holiday Running Series held on December 19, 2026 at Aberdeen Festival Park in Aberdeen, MD. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes participant awards and race amenities.
Distances and entry fees:
- 5K Run/Walk - 3.11 miles; fee $30.00
- 1 Mile Fun Run - 1 mile; fee $25.00
- Reindeer Run Virtual - 3.11 miles; fee $35.00; packet mailout included
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Registration for in-person events closes October 30, 2026. Virtual registration remains open through December 19, 2026. Mailed packets are sent approximately seven days before race day and day-of packet pickup is available.
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom t-shirt. The event includes a costume contest. Timing is performed with the RaceResult Chip system by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing and Event Management, LLC. The course is certified and described as flat. Awards are given male and female top three overall and to top three in age groups including 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29 and continuing by decade through 60-69 and 70 plus.
