Event Overview
The Reindeer Run 5k is a holiday-themed running event scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2026. It takes place at Festival Park in Aberdeen, Maryland.

Event Features
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom t-shirt. A costume contest is part of the event. The race course is certified, fast, and flat. The event uses professional chip timing via the RaceResult Chip system. A portion of the proceeds benefits the National PTSD Foundation, a charity supporting first responders with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Registration and Logistics
Early packet pickup details are announced later, while day-of packet pickup begins at 6:30 AM at Festival Park. Mailed packets are sent approximately seven days before the race. Awards are given for the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three in various age groups.
Series Information
This event is the fourth and final race in the Blue Cheetah Holiday Running Series. Participants who complete all four races in the series for three consecutive years receive a Legacy medal, while those completing for five consecutive years receive a Legend medal.
