Event overview
The Maverick New Forest Gravel 2026 is a trail running event held at Holmsley Campsite in Burley, Hampshire, in the New Forest National Park. The routes run through ancient woodland with a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees. Trails are generally covered with gravel and are moderately smooth, but they can become wet and muddy and include some short, steep slopes. The organiser asks participants to use reusable cups or bottles; outposts use self-serve water barrels and no pre-filled cups are provided.
