Event overview
The Maverick New Forest Gravel event is scheduled for January 2026 at Holmsley Campsite in the New Forest National Park near Burley, Hampshire (BH23 7EQ). The event is organised by Maverick Race and offers trail running on generally gravel-covered tracks through mixed ancient woodland. Trails are described as moderately smooth but can become wet and muddy, and include some short, steep slopes. Wildlife is noted on course, with broadleaved trees used by bats and young conifers providing shelter for deer. The event is dog friendly; dogs must be added to an entry to participate with a dog.
