The Maverick Hampshire Dark Gravel

The Maverick Hampshire Dark Gravel is a trail running event held in Alice Holt Forest on October 31, 2026. The course consists of 5 km laps, allowing participants to choose from three distances: 5 km, 10 km, or 15 km.

The event takes place in ancient woodland within the South Downs National Park. Participants run on wide tracks and tree-lined avenues at night, using head torches. A single outpost on the course provides snacks and water refills, but participants must bring their own reusable cup or bottle. The finish area features food and drink, including freshly cooked pizza and fire pits.
