Event overview
The Maverick West Sussex Trail Run takes place at Amberley Museum in West Sussex, with the event village next to Amberley railway station. The organiser is Maverick Race. The event uses marked trail routes through the South Downs, including sections on the South Downs Way. The organisers encourage a plastic-free approach and ask participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle for outposts.

There are no toilets on the running routes; toilets are available in the start/finish area. Outposts: none on the Short route; one on the Middle route (approx 5 km); two on the Half Marathon (approx 5 km and 14 km). Outposts provide snacks, gels and electrolyte drink but no pre-filled water cups; water is available from self-serve barrels. Registration is organised in specific time windows and race numbers are collected on the day. Free parking is provided at the venue. The event offers a fully marked course, chip timing with online results, event photography, bag drop and a metal finishers medal.
