About the race
The Maumelle Foodie 5k/10k is the 2nd annual fun run held on November 7, 2026 at Lake Willastein in Maumelle, Arkansas (309 Lake Willastein Dr, Maumelle, AR 72113). The event uses the paved trails around the lake and pairs the run with the Maumelle Food Truck Festival, which lists 40+ food trucks and vendors on site after the race.
The event offers two looped course distances:
- The Foodie 5k, 3.1 Miles
- The Foodie 10k, 6.2 Miles
The 5k is one loop around the lake and the 10k is two loops. The course has a 1.5 hour time limit. Every finisher receives a medal. Specific awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in these age groups for both distances: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Registration fees are listed as $25.00 for the 5k and $40.00 for the 10k. Registrations completed before October 19, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt and medal; after that shirts are distributed first-come, first-served while supplies last.
