The Mama Bear Run 5K
The Mama Bear Run 5K takes place on May 8, 2027 at The Bridges Academy in West Islip, NY. The event is held rain or shine and includes community-focused race activities on local roads and along the Keith Canal.

Registration details note that fees vary by registration date and include a processing fee. Registrants who register by April 19 are guaranteed a shirt when available. Race fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Additional options and donations are available during registration.
Event amenities include refreshments, finish line photos, live online and same-day results, and a post-race raffle. Bib pickup is available beginning one hour before the event; registrants who sign up three weeks in advance can receive a personalized bib. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours may receive a bib number by text.
Awards are given to the top mother finisher and the top three overall male and female finishers. Proceeds from the event benefit the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
