2026 Bridges Academy The Mama Bear Run 5K

The Mama Bear Run 5K is scheduled for May 9, 2026 at The Bridges Academy in West Islip, New York. The course runs on residential streets through West Islip and along the Keith Canal. The event is held rain or shine.

Amenities listed for participants include refreshments, finish line photos, post-race raffle items and same-day finish line pictures. Live online results are available. Participants who register by April 19 are guaranteed a shirt, subject to size availability. Bib pickup opens one hour before the event start time; a self lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number.

Awards are given to the top mother finisher, top male and female overall, and top male and female in age groups 19 and under, 20 to 39, 40 to 59, and 60 plus. Proceeds from the race benefit the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition. Registration options include a Run/Walk entry and separate donation-only choices.
