Event
The Maer 10km & Half Marathon is organised by LMEvents and takes place in Exmouth on 26 April 2026. Both races start on the same route and split after 5 km. Entry closes on 22 April 2026. Entry fees range from £19 to £31. Chip timing is used and a finisher medal is available as an optional extra; a lower-price "No Medal" entry is offered.
Distances and course
- 10 km - single lap, starts on Exmouth seafront, returns via coast path
- Half marathon - single lap, runs to Budleigh along a disused trainline, returns via coastal path
The half marathon includes a climb of almost 1000 ft along the coastal path and shares a downhill section to the Geoneedle with the 10 km. Runners must reach the 10 km/half split within a 36 minute cut-off (about 8 min/km); those who do not will be directed onto the 10 km route.

Race number collection opens for pre-registered entrants on race day and on-the-day entries may be possible. The event uses multi-terrain and coastal paths, with road and off-road sections.
