The Maer 10km & Half Marathon
The Maer 10km & Half Marathon takes place in Exmouth on 26 April 2026 and offers two chip timed distance options. Entries close on 22 April 2026 or sooner if places fill. The event uses a single start and finish corridor with the routes splitting after 5 km.

- 10 km single lap course starting on Exmouth seafront.
- Half marathon single lap multi terrain course to Budleigh and back.
The 10 km route runs along Exmouth seafront, through town and onto the coast path, rejoining the half route and returning along the coastal section past the Geoneedle to the finish. The half marathon follows a disused trainline out to Budleigh before climbing almost 1000 feet on the South West Coast Path and returning to the finish in Exmouth.
Runners must reach the 10 km/half split within a 36 minute cutoff (8 minute per km pace); participants who do not meet this will be directed onto the 10 km route. Finishers can choose a medal; a no medal entry is offered at a reduced fee. Typical entry prices range from £21 to £34 depending on distance and medal option.
