The Lucky Run - Pitman

The Lucky Run is an Irish holiday themed running and walking event held at Ballard Park in Pitman, New Jersey. The event program includes multiple options and local after parties at Merryman's Pub and Bonesaw Brewery. The charity partner is the HEADstrong Foundation.

Available distances:

• 5K race, chip timed.
• 1 Mile Kids Run for ages 14 and under, chip timed, finisher medal included.
• 1 Mile Walk, not timed.

Registration fees listed by the organizer are $46 for the 5K, $32 for the 1 Mile Kids Run, and $35 for the 1 Mile Walk. A short sleeve event shirt is included for registrants in women's, men's/unisex, and youth sizes; a long sleeve upgrade is available for $6. Registrations made by Feb 21 or Feb 22 for respective events are guaranteed first choice of shirt size while supplies last.

The 5K offers awards for the top three male and female overall finishers and age group winners (age 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and then every 10 years). The Kids Run awards top three male and female overall winners in ages 9 and under and 10-14. A drink ticket for 21 and over is included with some entries for a beer at either after party location. Additional event features include live Irish music at event venues, food options, raffles, race photos by a professional photographer, and volunteer benefits noted by the organizer.
