The Lucky Run - Pitman, NJ
The Lucky Run takes place on March 15, 2026, at Ballard Park in Pitman, NJ. It is the 14th annual Irish-themed 5K and 1 Miler in downtown Pitman. The event is limited to 500 participants and names HEADstrong Foundation as its charity partner.

Race details
The 5K is chip-timed with instant results and follows a paved neighborhood course through historic Pitman. 5K walkers are welcome but must be registered and start behind runners. The 1 Mile Kids Run is chip-timed and restricted to participants age 14 and under; a parent or guardian may run with a child but race perks are not included for the parent unless registered. The 1 Mile Walk is not timed and follows a scenic route through Pitman.
Registered participants receive a Lucky Run shirt and a custom finisher medal for 2026; registering by March 1 guarantees first choice of shirt. Drink tickets for beer are included for eligible participants with ID. Awards are given to the top three overall and age group male and female winners. The race is held rain or shine with no refunds or deferrals.
After-race activities
Post-race gatherings are held at Merryman's Pub and Bonesaw Brewery. Activities include Irish music, a DJ, a live Irish band, raffles and door prizes, an Irish food menu at Merryman's Pub, a food truck at Bonesaw Brewery, and free downloadable race and after-party photos.
