The Lucky Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk to benefit Ireland's Dream
The Lucky Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 3, 2026, at Lake Callis in Davison, MI. The event offers both an in-person 5K and a virtual run/walk option that can be completed on a participant's chosen course.
Ireland's Dream is a 501c3 that supports children and families living with cerebral palsy. The organization is building a therapy center intended to provide state of the art care that is often not covered by insurance and to make therapy accessible regardless of financial circumstances.

The first 20 runners through the finish line take home a pumpkin and one pumpkin will win a prize; the winner must be present to receive the prize and will be announced at the awards ceremony. All finishers receive medals. Age group medals are awarded for multiple age divisions from 9 and under through 70 plus, separated by female and male categories.
The event partners again with Ainsley's Angels, whose volunteers push special needs participants in race chariots; warriors using that service must be registered with Ainsley's Angels and coordinated for this race. A special reception area for participants with cerebral palsy is provided prior to the event.
Registration is online only. In-person pricing listed is $35 through September 28, $40 from September 29 to October 4, and $45 on race day. Family pricing offers a $5 discount per person for groups of three or more registering together. Virtual registration closes October 2 and virtual shirts are available for purchase through September 23. Donations of $100 qualify for a free entry and donations of $50 provide a $20 entry discount.
