The Lucky Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk to benefit Ireland's Dream takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Lake Callis, 1152 N. Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423. The event includes a 5k Run/Walk and a Virtual Run/Walk. Ireland's Dream is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports children and families living with cerebral palsy and is building a therapy center to provide care not always covered by insurance.
Logistics and awards
Registration fees are shown as $35 for early entry, with higher fees listed for later registration and on race day; the Virtual Run/Walk fee is listed as $40 and virtual registration closes October 2, 2026. Family pricing is available when three or more people register together, saving $5 per person. Donate $100 to receive a free entry or donate $50 to receive $20 off an entry, per the event instructions.
Finishers receive a medal. Age group medals are awarded by male and female divisions across standard age brackets, including 9 and under up to 70+. The first 20 runners through the finish line may take home a pumpkin; one pumpkin contains a prize and the winner must be present to claim it at the awards ceremony. The race will be professionally timed and live results will be available. A special reception area for participants with cerebral palsy is planned, and the event is partnering with Ainsley’s Angels for chariot pushers.
