25th Annual The Legal Runaround
The event takes place on September 5, 2026 at Westside Reservoir Park, 1660 Johnson Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The running program includes the following distances:
- 5K race
- Tot Trot for children ages 5 and under
The event is co-sponsored by the Atlanta Bar Foundation and the Atlanta Police Department. Proceeds provide college scholarships for children of Metropolitan Atlanta Police officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.
Registration pricing is listed with an early bird rate of $25 per person through August 16 and an advance rate of $35 per person thereafter. The Tot Trot does not require advance registration; participants may sign up at the registration desk on race day. The Tot Trot is free for children ages 5 and under and does not include a t-shirt. Race shirts are distributed while supplies last.
Awards are given to top finishers in overall, masters, and age categories. The event is held rain or shine. Leashed pets and strollers are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
