25th Annual The Legal Runaround
The 25th Annual The Legal Runaround takes place on September 5, 2026, at Westside Reservoir Park, 1660 Johnson Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The event includes a community 5K and a Tot Trot for young children.
Event offerings include:
- 5K race and walk
- Tot Trot for children ages 5 and under
The event is co-sponsored by the Atlanta Bar Foundation and the Atlanta Police Department. Net proceeds provide college scholarships to children of Metropolitan Atlanta Police officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.
Registration pricing is listed with an early rate and an advance rate; t-shirts are distributed while supplies last and availability may be limited. The Tot Trot does not require pre-registration and is free for children ages 5 and under; shirts are not included for Tot Trot participants.
The day includes registration, the 5K race and walk, the Tot Trot, and an awards ceremony. Awards will be issued to top finishers in overall, masters, and age categories.
