Event overview
The 25th Annual The Legal Runaround is a community running event held at Westside Reservoir Park in Atlanta, GA, at 1660 Johnson Rd NW. The event includes a 5K race and a Tot Trot for young children. It is co sponsored by the Atlanta Bar Foundation and the Atlanta Police Department. Proceeds provide college scholarships to children of Metropolitan Atlanta Police officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.
Registration details note an Early Bird rate through August 16th for $25 per person and an Advance registration rate after August 16th for $35 per person. The Tot Trot requires no prior registration and is free for children ages 5 and under; a race shirt is not included for Tot Trot participants. Race shirts are distributed while supplies last and later registrations may not receive a shirt.
The event is held rain or shine. Leashed pets and strollers are permitted. Awards are issued to top finishers in overall, masters and age categories.
