THE KINGDOM OF NORTHUMBRIA COASTAL ULTRA 2027
The Kingdom of Northumbria Coastal Ultra is an ultra trail event on 14 March 2027 that follows the Northumberland coastline from near Bamburgh Castle to Druridge Bay Country Park. The route passes Beadnell Harbour, Dunstanburgh Castle, Craster Village and Warkworth Castle. Routes are available to view and download.

This is an A-B event. Runners must book the shuttle bus from the finish to the start before the race or arrange their own transport to the start; there are no buses after the event. Start locations are listed for the 54km and 27km courses and the finish is at Druridge Bay Country Park. A bag drop will operate at registration and all bags will be transported to the finish.
Feed stations for the 54km are at Low Newton, Boulmer and Warkworth Beach. The 27km has a feed station at Warkworth Beach. Timing is by live chip timing. Runners must carry mandatory kit including water, a charged mobile phone with emergency contacts, food or gels, a headtorch if finishing after 4:30pm and a lightweight jacket. There is a strict 6pm cut off and anyone not at the final feed station by 4:30pm may not continue. All finishers receive a metal medal, an exclusive t-shirt and snacks and drinks.
