About the race
The Kingdom of Northumbria Coastal Ultra is a scenic ultra trail running event held in Northumberland, UK. The main 54km race starts near Bamburgh Castle and passes iconic coastal landmarks such as Beadnell Harbour, Dunstanburgh Castle, Craster Village, and Warkworth Castle, finishing at Druridge Bay Country Park. A new 27km option from Boulmer to Druridge Bay is also available.
The route features three well-stocked feed stations and requires runners to carry mandatory safety kit. The event offers live chip timing, shuttle bus options to start points, and awards finishers with medals, exclusive long-sleeve shirts, snacks, and drinks.
