The Jon McCombs Memorial 5K Run/Walk
The Jon McCombs Memorial 5K Run/Walk is a community road/trail event held at the Levee Loop Trailhead at Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg, PA. The event is presented as a memorial to a local emergency medical services professional and aims to support the EMS community.
Event amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish-line photos, free same-day finish-line video and images, personalized bibs for registrants who register three weeks in advance, and a complimentary event T-shirt for every registered participant. Bibs are distributed by event staff beginning one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup and last-minute registrants (within 24 hours) receive their bib number by text within about 90 seconds.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female finishers in age groups 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
