The Ivy Scholarship 5k
The Ivy Scholarship 5k is an organized run and walk event held at the Hare Pavilion on the Wilmington Riverfront, 815 Justison St, Wilmington, DE 19801. It is scheduled in late April 2026 and supports the AKAette Scholarship Program.
Event options include:
- 5k run
- Competitive walking 5k with walking required for the entire distance
- 1 Mile noncompetitive walk
Pre registration closes Friday, April 25 at 5pm and day of registration is available at a higher fee. Listed registration amounts include mandatory charges and fees; the 5k registration amount shown on the event page was approximately $44.79 with a listed day of fee around $45. Sponsorship packages are offered at multiple levels ranging from $150 to $2,500.
Amenities noted for registered participants include event T shirts for pre registered entrants and first come first serve availability for day of registrants, with the first 170 participants guaranteed a T shirt. Finisher medals are referenced as coming soon. Timing is provided by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag Timing System. Top finisher awards use gun time for overall categories and chip net time for other age groups. Results and event photos are posted online after the event. No dogs are allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non transfer able, and registrations are non refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
