About the race
The Imperium Run takes place on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Mission Bay Beach, Auckland. The event offers three sealed, fully paved course distances along Auckland’s waterfront:

- 10 km
- 21.1 km
Agent entry fee is $35 for all distances. Registrations close on 17 October 2026. The course is gentle with less than 5 m elevation gain and is marshalled with aid stations and support points. Official timing is provided by RacetimeNZ and finishers receive a medal. Race entry includes a bib, drink and protein bar at the finish, race photos free to download, and access to marshals and first aid on course.
The event opens with a short community gathering including prayer and finishes on the beach. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver; children can participate and kids under 13 may enter free but then do not receive a medal, bib or post-run snack unless registered officially. A communal cold plunge at midday is offered as optional. Volunteers staff roles such as marshals, aid stations and bib collection.
Refunds are available until registrations close on 17 October. Entries can be transferred and distance changes are free until that date. Parking is limited and public transport options run nearby. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
