About the race
The Harcourts Cooper & Co Hobsonville Half Marathon takes place at War Memorial Park, Hobsonville Point, on Sunday, 17 January 2027, with a rain date of Sunday, 24 January 2027. The event offers multiple race distances on a coastal, largely flat course that travels through Hobsonville Point, Whenuapai and a full loop of Herald Island, and includes sections around Catalina Bay and the Little Loop.

Event facilities and services at the venue include race number collection (pre-event and race morning), a self-service Gear Drop with numbered aisles and a separate Key Drop container, and a large bank of portable toilets on site. Aid stations are placed approximately every 3–5 km and will provide water at the first table and electrolyte or sport drink at the second. Directional arrows and course marshals mark turns and intersections. Results are updated in real time via a QR code on race numbers, and all officially registered finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal. On exit from the finish chute participants are handed a banana or snack bar and can access a nearby water and electrolyte tent.
The event base is adjacent to shops and cafes on the main road into Hobsonville Point; the venue address is 1 Memorial Park Lane, Hobsonville, Auckland. Participants are asked to label Gear Drop items and avoid leaving valuables, and to follow safety instructions from marshals for the duration of the event.
