8th Continent Marathon
The 8th Continent Marathon and half marathon take place in Auckland Domain on a 5.28 km loop that starts and finishes at the Domain Grandstand. The marathon requires eight laps of the loop and the half marathon requires four laps. All finishers in both distances receive a medal.
Facilities under and above the grandstand include changing rooms, showers and toilets available before the start and after the finish. Bag storage will be supervised by club members at the top of the Grandstand but storage is at the competitor's own risk and valuables are not guaranteed secure. Car parking is available around the Auckland Domain with varying time limits and additional street parking in nearby side streets.
There are two aid stations on the course, one at the start line and one by the museum. Disposable cups will be provided and competitors may leave their own drink bottle at the reception table. Hydration is supplied by PURE.
Entry fee windows and prices are: Early Bird ends midnight 25th Sept 2026 Standard Entry ends midnight 18th Dec 2026 Late Entry ends midnight 15th Jan 2027 In person entries on the morning of 17th Jan 2027
