Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women - Waterloo 2026
The Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women is a community running and walking event held at Conestoga College, Doon Campus, in Kitchener, Ontario. The event base is located on Doon Valley Drive and serves as a fundraiser for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Waterloo Wellington.
The event offers several distance options for participants:
- 10 km run
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 km Little Steps
The funds raised through this event enable CMHA Waterloo Wellington to provide specialized services for women in the region. These services focus on three primary areas: crisis support for women experiencing anxiety or trauma, comprehensive assessment and treatment for individuals with eating disorders, and early psychosis support through medical screening and counselling.
The event schedule includes a group welcome and warm-up session prior to the main race starts. Participants can join as individuals or as part of a team, and a Corporate Challenge is also available.
