About the race
The Howling Ghost Trail Race takes place at Springwater Conservation Area in Aylmer, Ontario (about 40 minutes from London). The third edition offers day races of 8k, 16k, or 24k, run on wide, groomed trails through a scenic Carolinian forest, with 1–3 loops of the 8k course. A new Structural Panels Inc.
Night Howl 8k adds a nocturnal option with headlamps required. A Day/Night challenge pairs day and night events. The race uses a cupless policy, on-course aid, and free race photos.
Halloween-themed costumes win prizes, and proceeds benefit the Children's Health Foundation; it is Athletics Ontario-sanctioned. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
