The Hottest Run
The Hottest Run takes place in Kennesaw, Georgia on August 29, 2026, at Swift-Cantrell Park. The event is hosted by an experienced ultramarathon runner with 18 years of experience. The course is a one-mile loop with two lanes open to the community.
The event is held as a timed running challenge with multiple time options:
- Five hours
- Eight hours
- Ten hours
- Fourteen hours
Course amenities include a lit trail for evening hours, benches and pavilions for rest, and ample shade along the loop. A nearby water park is available for use for a fee of $3. Vending machines are available with items costing around $2.
There is a single aid station located at the center pavilion and positioned at the half-mile point for extra hydration. The aid station will provide electrolyte drinks, a cooler, and snacks such as berries, peanuts, peanut butter, potato chips, and salt tabs.
