The Hereford 10 Mile Race 2026
The Hereford 10 Mile Race is a chip timed road race held on 15 February 2026. The race starts and finishes at Hereford Rugby Club and follows a mainly country lane route around Herefordshire.
The course is an undulating figure of eight on road and covers 10 miles (16 km). There is a single water station on the course that is passed at 4 miles and again at 7 miles. Water will also be provided after the race. The event holds a full UK Athletics race licence and full medical cover will be in place on race day.
Race facilities at Hereford Rugby Club include toilets and refreshments available to purchase from the club. There is no parking at the rugby club; pay and display car parks are available within a short walk.
Entry is by advance registration only; no on the day sign ups are permitted. Minimum age is 18 on the day of the event. Entries follow standard and affiliated pricing bands and the event is currently full with a waiting list. Transfers are permitted until 3 February 2026 and refunds are not available, though transfers to the following year or another event are allowed.
Every finisher receives a race memento. Individual and team prizes are awarded for male and female finishers, including age category prizes in five year veteran bands. Full results will be published after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
