The Hereford 10 Mile Race 2027
The Hereford 10 Mile Race is a chip timed road event held on 14 February 2027. The course is 10 Miles (approximately 16 km) and follows an undulating figure of eight route mainly on country lanes around Herefordshire. The race starts and finishes at Hereford Rugby Club, which will be open on the day for refreshments.
Race entries are limited to 500 and the minimum age is 18 on the day of the event. Entry fees are listed as £25.00 for affiliated runners and £27.00 for unattached runners; all entrants must register in advance as no on-the-day entries are permitted. Race transfers are available only until 15 January 2027. The event is held under a full UK Athletics race licence and full medical event cover will be in place.
Facilities at the race headquarters include toilets and additional refreshments available to purchase from the rugby club. There is strictly no parking at the rugby club; several pay and display car parks are a short walk away. On-course support includes a single water station passed at 4 miles and again at 7 miles, with water also provided after the finish. Every finisher receives a race memento. Prizes are awarded for male and female 1st to 3rd places, age-category prizes in five-year veteran bands, and team prizes for the first three male and female teams.
