The Hereford 10 Mile Race - 14 February 2027
The Hereford 10 Mile Race is a chip timed road race held on 14 February 2027. The event starts and finishes at Hereford Rugby Club, Belvedere Lane, Hereford HR4 0PH. The course is an undulating figure of eight mainly on country lanes around Herefordshire and covers 10 Miles (approximately 16 km). The race holds a full UK Athletics licence.
Entries are limited to 500 and the minimum age on race day is 18. Entry fees are listed as £25.00 for affiliated runners and £27.00 for unattached runners. All entrants must register in advance; no on-the-day sign-ups are permitted. Race place transfers are permitted only until 15 January 2027 and entries cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled.
Facilities at the rugby club include toilets and refreshments for purchase. There is strictly no parking at the Rugby Club; several pay and display car parks are within a short walk. On course there is a single water station passed at roughly 4 miles and 7 miles, with water also provided after the finish. Full medical cover will be in place for the event.
Every finisher receives a race memento. Prizes are awarded for first to third male and female finishers, age category prizes in five-year veteran bands, and team prizes for the first three male and first three female teams. Participants are subject to UK Athletics rules and anti-doping regulations. Race numbers must be worn visibly and headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types.
