The Harvathon 2026
The Harvathon is a lapped running event held on Kings Walden Rd, Hitchin SG5 3DX, UK. The main event gives participants seven hours to run or walk as many laps of a 5K off-road loop as they choose. The route covers mixed terrain including trail, grass and woodland and offers countryside views; most of the loop is flat or downhill with one steady uphill followed by a steeper climb.
The event includes an on-site event village with an aid station, food and coffee van, toilets, and an area for families and spectators. Additional on-site services reported in past events include post-event stretch and massage sessions, taster core sessions, and a clubhouse bar. There is parking at the venue with overflow parking at Offley Hoo Farm.
The Harvathon is organised by Run Strong and has associated options: the main lapped Harvathon, a Mini Mile for children, and a Virtual Harvathon. Some proceeds from the event are donated to a local charity, and past editions have offered medals, goodie bags and other participant facilities.
