Event Overview
The Great West Georgia Donut Run Challenge is an event organized by the West Georgia Track Club. It is held on National Donut Day in Carrollton, Georgia, at 500 Believers Boulevard.
Format and Course
The event is a one-hour challenge where participants run or walk as many loops of the Hobbs Farm course as possible. Each completed loop is called a "donut." After finishing each loop, a participant must eat a mini donut before starting the next one.
Competition and Awards
The male and female competitors who complete the most loops within the hour win a donut trophy.
Registration and Fees
Advance registration is required. There is no same-day registration. The event is free for West Georgia Track Club members, though they must still register. For nonmembers, participation costs $12. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
