Event Overview
The Great Pickle Race and Pickleball Tournament takes place at Wolf Pack Park in Reeds Spring, Missouri. Organized by the Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake, this multipurpose sporting event combines running activities with a doubles pickleball competition. The event serves as a fundraiser, with proceeds used to award grants to various nonprofit organizations.
Running Events
The program includes two distinct running distances:
- 5K
- Fun Run (one mile)
The 5K race is conducted on the wooded trails within Wolf Pack Park. The Fun Run is held on paved surfaces. Participants in the 5K are eligible for medals across several age categories, including 18 and under, 19-45, and 46 and older, for both male and female finishers. Recognition is also provided for the youngest and oldest finishers. In the one-mile Fun Run, medals are awarded to the top three overall finishers.
Pickleball Tournament
The event features an Open Doubles Pickleball Tournament using a round robin format. Teams consist of men, women, or mixed pairs competing against each other. The competition is divided into three skill levels: Beginner (2.0-2.9), Intermediate (3.0-3.5), and Advanced (3.5+). Medals are awarded to the top three teams in each category based on win-loss records. Participants without a partner can be paired with players of similar ability.
