Run the Rock is an athletic event held at Top of the Rock in Ridgedale, Missouri. This event features two distinct distance options for participants to select from:

• 3 Miles
• 6 Miles

The course takes place primarily on asphalt, but participants should expect to traverse a variety of other surfaces. These include gravel, trails, dirt, and metal bridges. The route also crosses sections that may involve water and wet rock. Due to the hilly nature of the terrain and the technical variety of the ground surfaces, the 6 Mile option is specifically intended for individuals with previous running experience.

Participants travel through a landscape that includes several natural features. The route passes by waterfalls, a cave, and multiple scenic overlooks. Because of the specific layout of the terrain, spectator access is limited throughout the course.
