The Great Lincoln Marathon & Half takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Lincoln, Maine, based at Prince Thomas Park (2 Lake St). The event program includes these distances:
- The Great Lincoln Marathon - 26.2 miles (price: $85)
- The Great Lincoln Half Marathon - 13.1 miles (price: $55)
- The Great Lincoln 10K Run - 10K (price: $45)
- The Great Lincoln 5K Run - 5K (price: $25)
The marathon and half marathon registration fees increase after May 25, 2026. The 10K fee increases after July 8, 2026.
Course and logistics
All courses start at the corner of West Broadway and Main St and head south on Route 2 toward Enfield. The organizer describes the course as flat and straight. The marathon and half marathon course is certified for Boston Marathon qualification and is USATF sanctioned. Packet pickup is scheduled at SeptemberFest in downtown Lincoln on September 19, 2026. A special "Run the Highlands" medal is offered to participants who complete both The Great Bangor Marathon & Half and The Great Lincoln Marathon & Half.
